First, all relevant medical records must be comprehensively and meticulously reviewed, a task I am skilled at conducting given my medical background. I then consult the appropriate medical specialists and sub-specialists from among the vast team of experts I have assembled over the years to determine whether or not there is negligence. Drawing upon my experience of how the courts have responded to these cases, I carefully evaluate the legal issues at stake in each situation before a decision is made to take on a case.
Once I accept a mandate the client is carefully briefed about the potential lawsuit and the plan of action. From the moment the lawsuit is filed, each case is vigorously pursued to an out-of-court settlement or trial, and if necessary an appeal to the highest court.
